NATURE’S PLAY

The dial sets the special accent on every watch. Because of the use of real barrique barrels, which are processed into millimeter-thin dials, no two watches are alike. Each dial represents a stage,

A heart for good wines, special moments and elegant watches…

Grand Pinot founder has always had a penchant for elegant watches with a simple design that stand out from the crowd with small but fine features. One summer evening he was sitting with a good friend on a bench in the vineyard where they enjoyed an excellent Pinot Noir together.
Perhaps it was his effect that made Halbritter ask his friend late at night: How nice would it be if we could carry this enjoyable moment together in beautiful nature with us forever?

Two years of development

The idea of Grand Pinot was born at this moment: decided to create a watch
which expresses exactly this attitude towards life. Combining simplicity with beauty and the timelessness of a fine wine. This was followed by around two years of design work and a lengthy search for the right partner. Halbritter finally found him in a watch manufacturer who was also enthusiastic about his vision.

The queen of grape varieties

This connection resulted in an extraordinary series of watches, which now offers under the Grand Pinot brand: It is named after the Pinot Noir grape variety, which many winegrowers call the queen of grape varieties, explains Halbritter, a watch and wine lover.
It places high demands on the locations in the vineyard, is usually carefully harvested by hand and carefully expanded. The best winegrowers use it to create long-lasting, complex wines of enormous elegance. His watches, which are available in the Classic, Characer and Heritage editions, also exude this character.
